Me, seeing that next chapter is called “Tenderness”:

reading fanfiction excessively throughout my early teens has helped me build up a pretty strong immunity to angst tropes but, no matter how many times i encounter it, the concept of a regular mortal character outliving their love interest with an unfathomably long or even endless lifespan due to an unforseen tragic and entirely avoidable occurrence that suddenly cuts their time short when they both just assumed that the immortal would be the one to endure honestly leaves me foaming at the mouth in pure agony every single time without fail

One of several places I stayed in Colorado. Built into the canyon cliff, one entire side of the house is rock; the shower and reading corner are natural recesses. Wood-burning stove, heated tile floors, and 2nd story loft for guest bed.
Missing this place like crazy.
